Florence + The Machine piqued our curiosity Tuesday with information of a seemingly witchy new album referred to as All people Scream set for launch on Halloween. At present Florence Welch has intensified that anticipation by revealing the music video for “All people Scream,” the brand new album’s opener and title monitor, together with some data concerning the new LP.
Welch labored on All people Scream with what’s billed as “a close-knit circle of collaborators” together with IDLES’ Mark Bowen (who seems within the video for “All people Scream”), Aaron Dessner, and Mitski. It’s an exploration of “religious mysticism, witchcraft, and folks horror,” topics that come bracingly into the highlight in Autumn de Wilde’s “All people Scream” video. The track is a grand, gothic, synth-powered anthem with the type of refrain a complete area might simply choose up on: “All people dance! All people sing! All people transfer! All people scream!” Within the visuals, Welch and her witch squad traipse throughout an outdated rural city, sending individuals into possessed contortions as they strut their stuff.
I’m curious to know what Swifties who found Florence + The Machine through “Florida!!!” take into consideration this. Watch under.
All people Scream is out 10/31 through Polydor/Republic.
