The Who’ve added one closing date to their The Track Is Over farewell tour of North America.
Beforehand, the ultimate present was regarded as happening on the MGM Grand Backyard Area in Las Vegas on September 28.
However at present one final present has been confirmed, happening at Acrisure Area in Higher Palm Springs, California, on Wednesday, October 1.
In a social media put up, the band say: “We’re happy to announce that The Who’re coming to Acrisure Area, Higher Palm Springs, CA on October 1st for the final time on The Track is Over – The Remaining Public Present on the North American Farewell Tour! Tickets on sale this Wednesday, September seventeenth at 10AM native at Ticketmaster.com.”
Forward of the final sale, Citi Financial institution cardholders will get entry to a presale at 10am native time on Tuesday, September 16.
Guitarist Pete Townshend not too long ago stated he wasn’t positive what the band’s plans had been as soon as the tour ended, saying it was within the arms of singer Roger Daltrey.
He stated: “It’s in Roger’s arms. If we don’t prolong the tour, would we be in breach of contract? Would we be in swindle-land if we got here again?
“I’m 80, I don’t like being away from my household, my studios, my canines and my mates. I’m not trying to spend the subsequent 5 years of my life ready to fucking drop useless on the stage.”
