Tech loss of life icon Matt Miller is dropping his newest album, Fiber Tormentum, through Exitus Stratagem Information on September 12.
Identified along with his work touring with Rings of Saturn and Possessed, his solo venture was spawned by the pandemic, which impressed him to make his personal music with collaborators Jordan Kelso (drums/synth), Justice Robinett (bass), and Biko Wright (vocals).
“This album is essentially the most formidable venture I’ve ever labored on. We pushed ourselves to our limits, by no means settled, and created one thing that’s each technically brutal and emotionally resonant. It’s a glimpse into our lives, our evolution, and our imaginative and prescient for what steel could be,” says Miller.
The album art work was created by the late Joshua Nassaru Ward (Voraath) and displays the theme of the album, manipulation of human DNA and the potential hurt to the human race that may come from it. The title is impressed by Roman historical past, the sound of a ballista’s ropes tightening earlier than launch.
