Belinda Carlisle revisits her roots with the discharge of a brand new studio album, As soon as Upon A Time In California.
Following the success of her 2023 EP Kismet and the only Large Large Love, As soon as Upon A Time In California sees Belinda Carlisle take a deeply private journey by the golden sounds of her youth. It’s a heartfelt tribute to the classic popular culture that formed her musical id.
Commenting on the album Belinda says, “I used to be born and raised in California at a time when music was an vital a part of Californian tradition. I lived and breathed music, it was my nice escape – a refuge of fantasy and creativeness. Day by day after faculty and when it was summer season trip, I might hear and sing alongside to the music on the radio for all the day. All the time fantasising about being a singer myself, someday.

A Private Training In Pop
As soon as Upon A Time In California was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Gabe Lopez, who labored with Belinda on her 2017 studio album Wilder Shores.

The result’s a wholly completely different form of Californian dreaming for a brand new era. Though this marks the primary time all 10 tracks have been out there on one album, three of them – Celebrity, If You May Learn My Thoughts and Get Collectively (The Youngbloods) have been out there on earlier Belinda Carlisle collections.

Heavenly Hits Tour
Along with the album launch Belinda embarks on her Heavenly Hits tour within the UK with exhibits between 5-13 September 2025. Alongside pageant appearances at Saint Helen’s Retrospective Pageant (Friday 5 September) and Chelmsford’s Radio 2 within the Park (Saturday 6 September) the singer visits:
