Former Propaganda vocalist, Claudia Brücken declares new album, Evening Mirror.
Claudia’s final studio outing got here with the critically acclaimed 2022 album The Coronary heart Is Unusual (No.11 within the UK album chart), which noticed her reunite along with her Propaganda colleagues Susanne Freytag and Stephen Lipson to provide a sequel to A Secret Want utilizing the title xpropaganda.
It was her newest mission in a eclectic collection of musical and inventive collaborations with the likes of Wolfgang Flür (Kraftwerk), Martin Gore (Depeche Mode), ACT, Andrew Poppy, Andy Bell (Erasure) and Peter Hook (New Order), confirming her fame as an uncompromising and charming musical pioneer.
Evening Mirror, her fourth solo album, was written and recorded in London between 2023-25 with long-time collaborator John Williams (The Housemartins, Alison Moyet, Blancmange, Easy Minds). It’s an enthralling assortment of 10 unique compositions, an intense, intoxicating collection of mysteries, reflections, struggles and obsessive observations set towards a backdrop of glossy, elegant electronica.
Titles embody Rosebud, Sincerely, Sound And The Fury, To Be Cherished, The Solely Ones, All That We Ever Have and Dancing Shadow.
