Idlewild have introduced particulars of their first new album in six years. The Edinburgh quintet’s self-titled tenth album will emerge on October 3 by way of V2 Data. And, as a preview of what is to return, the group have shared the file’s first single, the anthemic Keep Out Of Place.
Commenting on the one, frontman Roddy Woomble says, “Walt Whitman was proper, we do include ‘multitudes’ – there may be multiple ‘us’ in there – we’re selecting a voice from among the many many voices.
