Grasp P is a New Orleans legend with lifelong ties to basketball — from the “Make ‘Em Say Ugh” video to his occasional stints as an expert participant to his son Lil Romeo’s years as a degree guard for USC — so in a manner his new job makes excellent sense. The hip-hop multi-hyphenate born Percy Miller has been named President of Basketball Operations on the College of New Orleans.
In a press launch saying Grasp P’s rent, coach Stacy Hollowell says, “This can be a tremendously thrilling day for the way forward for New Orleans Privateers basketball. I’m thrilled so as to add coach Percy Miller to our employees as President of Basketball Operations. Coach Miller cares deeply about his metropolis, the College of New Orleans and Privateers basketball. We are going to profit from his basketball information and his relationships with individuals throughout the metropolis and the sport.”
Miller arrives within the position at a scandalous time for this system. 4 of the highest 5 scorers have been suspended since Jan. 27, with the varsity solely speaking that the gamers had violated crew guidelines. At this time faculty basketball analyst Jeff Goodman reported that the suspension stems from suspected ties to sports activities playing.
