Together with her new single “Lipstick,” underground shapeshifter Luvcat invitations us right into a deliciously twisted daydream, a tune the place kink meets cabaret, devotion dances with hazard, and the echoes of childhood fantasy get warped into one thing much more grownup.

“Lipstick is a tune about love and kink. The will to please and really feel like just a little doll to be performed with, however proven tenderness and devotion in equal measure,” Luvcat explains. “It got here from assembly a person who referred to as me ‘doll’…”
The one arrives with a playfully unhinged visible, a wink to her childhood obsession with the “Doll on a Music Field” scene from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
“I used to decorate up as her as a child… a wind-up doll come to life to terrorize the city,” she says. “Some issues by no means change, I assume.”
Since her explosive debut “Matador,” Luvcat has been busy constructing her personal shadowy universe, a flickering stage present of doomed sailors, twisted fairytales, and cabaret heartbreak.
