Hailing from Sweden’s second and most arguably coolest metropolis, Gothenburg, Mud Grief ship a heady blast of the best underground Swedish storage punk whereas protecting an ear out for stealthy killer rock hooks.
Though they’ve been ‘satisfying earholes’ since 2022, it wasn’t till a ‘Division of Laura Lee’ gig in 2023 that they discovered their everlasting drummer, Nils Hoff. His arrival helped the band lastly unlock boss stage within the punk sport. Already unafraid of a busy gig schedule, the addition of Hoff means they will proceed their mission to play laborious and quick, far and large.
The only Worn Out/Vicious Valerie made some well-received ripples by itself. Then, when it was integrated into the Noise Air pollution EP, these ripples become waves. Now, with their debut album set for launch in 2025 all however wrapped up, Mud Grief is able to make a fair greater influence. Bye-bye waves, good day tsunami.
