Nice Neck, NY wordsmith AWOL Da Mindwriter returns with “Altered Beast.” New single (with video model directed by Jack De$a) was produced by August Fanon (Mach Hommy, Vic Spencer) and is from their forthcoming collaborative LP, Now Loading.
In accordance with the emcee the monitor is “coping with destructive societal forces in lots of our lives together with greed and vanity. The frustration of encountering these forces each day is a set off; it’s like turning me into an altered beast.” AWOL, an enormous gamer (particularly passionate in regards to the SEGA video games of his early life) typically works in titles and ideas impressed from these video games (therefore Altered Beast).
