North Wind Concert events Presents The Toronto Debut Of New Tips In Rindercella

New Tips is a barbershop quartet made up of 4 ladies who’ll be making their Toronto debut with an irreverent retelling of the Cinderella story. The looks closes the 2024/25 season for North Wind Concert events on March 22.

Rindercella retells the traditional Cinderella story with a way of humour, and thru four-part preparations of songs by pop artists like Queen, Whitney Houston, Simon and Garfunkel, Cyndi Lauper, and others.

New Tips Barbershop Quartet

The all-women quartet hails from Kitchener, and its members come from the worlds of classical, sacred, up to date and early vocal music.

Carol Ann Treitz (soprano/’lead’)

Carol earned a level from Wilfrid Laurier College with a level in music efficiency, and launched into a profession creating and performing in cabaret-style reveals and touring throughout Canada. She sings as a member of The Elora Pageant Singers, and has a busy personal educating studio.

Susan St. John (soprano/’tenor’)

Susan has a 30 yr background in barbershop ensembles, and has carried out with choruses and quartets on the native, nationwide and worldwide degree. She can be lively in musical theatre, and movie work. She is presently finishing her Physician of Ministry.

Kathy Hanneson (mezzo/’baritone’)

Kathy’s historical past with barbershop vocals dates again to not lengthy after graduating from the College of Guelph. Since that point, she’s been lively within the style as a chorister, arranger, director and member of plenty of choruses and quartets which have competed regionally and internationally.

Laura Pudwell (mezzo/’bass’)

Rising up in a musical household, Laura began singing professionally whereas attending Trinity School on the College of Toronto. As a performer, she has specialised in Baroque and Renaissance music. She was a daily performer with the Toronto Consort, and has made a number of appearances with Opera Atelier, together with acting at Versailles, and a Grammy nomination.
