Standing Quo have confirmed particulars of the long-awaited expanded version of their traditional 1976 stay album Standing Quo – Stay!. The eight-CD package deal will arrive through Edsel Information on Could 16 and embody a newly remastered model of the unique launch – compiled from recordings taped over three nights on the Glasgow Apollo in Scotland in October 1976 – along with the three units of their entirety.
The set can be launched as a 7” field containing the 8CDs, and a 24-page illustrated booklet that includes 4000 phrases of liner notes from Basic Rock author and unofficial boogie brother #1 Dave Ling and an article by AVP Studio’s Andy Gamble, who was answerable for the remastering.
As well as, a double vinyl model of the present recorded on October 27, 1976 can be launched on April 12, Document Retailer Day. It’s going to be out there in two colored vinyl variants, blue and “ticket stub mint.” Full tracklist under.
