After a number of years of touring the world for a number of years for the twentieth (now nearer to twenty fifth!) anniversary of their landmark 2002 album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, The Flaming Lips got here again to the East Coast on a co-headlining tour with fellow ‘90s/’00s indie-rock survivors Modest Mouse on an exquisite night time in New Haven.
On this night time, The Flaming Lips headlined and performed a short-ish however very satisfying, career-spanning set.
