Indoor Fanatic, the excellent third document from TUESDAY THE SKY, the instrumental-driven mission from guitarist Jim Matheos, arrives this Friday, October twenty fourth by way of Steel Blade Information!
TUESDAY THE SKY has been described as a “superbly bizarre solo mission” by Sonic Views, whereas Lifeless Rhetoric dubbed it a “kaleidoscope of atmospheric songs.” With eleven songs of pure Matheos-patented enjoying and fervour, this 12 months’s Indoor Fanatic options Dutch drummer Dennis Leeflang on “The Nearest Exit Might Be Behind You,” “Bend Towards Mild,” and “Set Fireplace To The Stars.”
Matheos, famed for his work with progressive metallic giants Fates Warning, alongside tasks equivalent to OSI and his collaboration with John Arch, Arch/Matheos, planted the seeds of TUESDAY THE SKY round 2016. The impetus got here from a Fates Warning bonus monitor that Matheos felt didn’t match for the band. He stored writing in that vein, and the consequence was TUESDAY THE SKY. The preliminary providing was 2017′s Drift, a document that drew affect from the likes of Brian Eno, Sigur Ros, Boards Of Canada, and Explosions In The Sky.
The second TUESDAY THE SKY album was 2021′s The Blurred Horizon, a mix of ambient, electronica, post-rock, and extra.
