The Pogues to rejoice fortieth anniversary of Rum Sodomy & The Lash with dwell UK dates subsequent 12 months.
The Pogues have introduced their first UK headline tour in 13 years. Celebrating 40 years of Rum Sodomy & The Lash, the band are set to play the album in its entirety alongside B-sides lifted from the singles A Pair of Brown Eyes, Sally MacLennane and Soiled Previous City, after they go to Leeds, Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle in Might 2025.
The tour will function unique members James Fearnley, Jem Finer, and Spider Stacy together with particular visitors.
Launched in 1985 and produced by Elvis Costello, Rum Sodomy & The Lash is the second studio album by the London-based Irish folk-punks.
The Pogues stated: “After the uproarious bash which was the fortieth anniversary of our first document, Pink Roses For Me, in 2024, we needed to do it once more, however with Rum Sodomy & The Lash.”
